War Rules ©2008 made by Administration at Kako-Seizon. All Rights Reserved.
While war was never an issue on Kako-Seizon, it would be on here if there were no rules. Therefore, it is imperative that war rules be laid out before any skirmishes, or full-fledged wars are to break out. These are to be followed. Know that war is an important part of this roleplaying experience. This doesn't mean flaming war. This means IC wars. Anyone who takes their debates on war to a flaming level will be brought down accordingly.Rules
[Posting Order]
Posting must be orderly. This way, there is no discrepancy as to what is happening when about twenty people are posting at one time. Also, this saves time for the ruling moderators and administrators. To keep it all orderly, the staff will intervene. We will provide both sides a complete week at maximum to make their war posts. All members of that army must post within that amount of time, or them and their platoon, or themselves alone, will be skipped and forced to move the next time their army has a chance to post. The week can be shortened if everyone posts before that week is done. This means, all warriors for Army A can post in an hour and their seven days will be shortened to an hour. Whether they plan or not is not the fault of staff members. When a member of the army is absent, they must verify with the leader of their army, or staff [preferably staff] if they are willing to be godmodded with limited succession, have their week extended up to one more week, or be skipped entirely. If a warrior fails to verify, they will be skipped by default.
[Summary: Each army is allowed a week in total to post, which can be shortened or lengthened based on circumstance. Absence should be reported to army leaders, or admin. Flaming shall result in removal from army threads.]
[Environment]
Before every official war and skirmish, a war zone shall be drawn out by staff members. This map is final and shall not be edited unless to root out an unavoidable error in the floor plans. Before wars, we shall ask for member feedback as to what the environments shall incorporate. Nothing too bizarre to the level that a desert would be located right next to an ice land. Environment should be manipulated accordingly based on your abilities.
[Summary: Maps shall be provided for all official skirmishes and wars. They are final copies, and are not bizarre in design.]
[Godmodding]
Godmodding in war would be allowed to a certain level. Like said before, with permission, leaders of a war would be able to godmode the actions of an absent member. This doesn't allow them access to the character. They are able to godmode the warrior and NPC he may command with movement.
PCs from an opposing army can impose death upon no more than 50- NPCs. This is done in moderation. No one is going to fire a single fireball and kill 50 men. And also take into account battle formations and the description of the NPCs when doing this. No little Genin is going to kill a large amount of elite Jonin. This function is null and void when a warrior is directly RPing a specific NPC. At this point, the character would become Semi-PC, and only killable through ruling, or other confirmation.
[Summary: Godmodding is somewhat allowed through circumstances of: absence, uncontrolled troops in moderation.]
[Battle Plans]
All members of war are able to propose battle plans. Only high ranking officials, or leaders can post them. There must be a separate section in their post, or another post completely describing the plan. An image with words, or simple words would be enough. All aspects of the plan must be presented. Anyone who is not supposed to know of it IC, who says they do IC, shall be punished accordingly.
[Summary: Battle plans and formations are to be posted by leaders and officials of the armies. They are to be posted with full aspects showing.]
