Name: Saccade Rank: n/a Type: Kekkei-Genkai, Supplementary, Far Description: Sight through an activated Saccade presents as a desaturated backdrop. The color plane on a whole is normal yet gray-tinted so that the vibration lines appear more vibrant. Each vibration type gets its own line of its own color and each brain interprets the lines differently. The lines ebb into the center of the eye and lead out for their respective distance, giving the location of the disturbance. Individuals performing the same motion, such as a group of people walking, will have individual lines of varying shades of the same color, and the frequency of peaks in the lines give notice to the manner of the target's motion, whether it is easy or hasty, the difference between a walk and a run. (eg. for Russki's Saccade, footsteps manifest as fluorescent blue lines while voices are fluorescent green. If she is close enough or the target's heart is beating hard enough, those lines will manifest as a pinkish-red). The Saccade is connected to a section of the brain which interprets the lines' colors and translates them to the user. The Konasu have over time come to be able to filter out what they consider to be "noise": tree branches swaying in the wind, leaves dragging on the ground and such won't clutter up their sight, unless it seems particularly out of place.
The Saccade can also see chakra in motion in the bloodstream, useful for quickly flushing out those hiding behind invisibility or Henge. It does not see residual chakra from jutsu, however, nor does it give any clues as to the capacity, the element or anything about the person possessing it. It merely sees the existence of the chakra: nothing more. Once activated, the Saccade is functional as long as the optic nerve is intact. This means even while blindfolded or the eyes are closed, the normal sight disappears but the lines are still visible. As well, even within a Genjutsu, significant motion from outside the Genjutsu will still be presented to the eye even though the sound may not be heard or the vibration may not appear to have a legitimate source.
Name: Noise Control Rank: C Type: Supplementary, Close Description: Using a single hand-seal (Rabbit), the Konasu clan can actually absorb their own vibration and sound waves (eg. footsteps, voice, etc), rendering themselves completely silent in motion.
Name: Glass Charmer Rank: n/a Type: Hijutsu, All types, Close Description: A hijutsu involving the partial manipulation of sand, this is the ability of the Konasu to absorb sand through the pores of their skin, the way the skin absorbs water. Within their body, a specialized collection of cells located just beneath the dermis compresses the sand. Supplemented by their abnormally high internal body temperatures, this melts the quartz within the grains into an amorphous substance: pre-cooled glass. This glass, mixed with chakra, is then able to be excreted back out through the pores and shaped by will. Outside the body, it will cool and expand slightly into a tempered, layered glass material resistant to most impact to a point and thus able to be used as weapons, shields, armor, etc.
Name: Flow Rank: n/a Type: Taijutsu style, Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary, Close Description: A taijutsu style that utilizes rhythm and mimics the motion of reverberation, Flow takes full advantage of erratic, unpredictable, distracting motions woven tightly with intermittent, chakra-laced but not exceptionally-powerful-otherwise attacks. This is a fighting style that works as well to the user's advantage as it does their disadvantage, because it's a minute-to-minute fighting style, where not even they necessarily know what they're going to do next. The style has never truly been mastered, as there are no set rules to its use and each users inner rhythm is different and subject to change, though there have been users who have wielded it exceptionally well. Often used in conjunction with Saccade, Flow resembles break dancing in most aspects, though not as detailed and dramatic. A good defense as well as offense, while most moves are erratic bluffs and dodges meant to lull the opponent into not knowing when a real attack is coming, the ones that do allow in a hit or kick are infused with active, vibrating chakra. This chakra, also reverberating like a tuning fork that has just been hit, basically knots and pinches muscle fiber wherever it hits, causing intense muscle pain and/or tremors that could last for days. More debilitating and distracting than deadly, you're more prone to suffer more injury from the intense punches and kicks than you will the effects of the chakra. The intensity of these kicks and punches in their own right depend not upon chakra, but upon the user's own personal strength.
Name: Urban Jumble Rank: n/a Type: Taijutsu Style, Supplementary Description: A more ninja-specialized form of Parkour, Urban Jumble encompasses the same principle of seamless motion in order to get from one place to another. Steps are light and quiet to keep from disturbing as little of the environment as possible, fear is abandoned to push the body to its limit and reflexes are heightened to adapt to any changes that might occur to the path ahead. Forward momentum is the keystone of this style, and no motion is wasted. Every motion performed while running is done with the intent to maintain or shift momentum, not lose it. Thus: leaps, rolls, slides, vaults, swings, hangs, etc are utilized at optimal times
