Yoryoku
[Spare Energy]
The Kekkei Genkai of the Samidare clan. This ability allows them to take a certain amount of their chakra and solidify it into a weapon. These weapons are bright blue in color, and until they are either destroyed or dispelled the chakra put into them cannot be regained. Size and shape of the weapon is directly dependent to the amount of chakra used to craft it. In recent times, Samidare have developed special materials through which this chakra must be directed in order to maintain form for extended periods of time.
Zenryoku
[Whole Energy]
An enhanced variant of the Yoryoku which allows the user channels elemental chakra into the crafted objects, granting the chakra weapons enhanced power and special attributes derived from the element used. Fire burns, Wind cuts, Lightning pierces, Earth smashes, Water shifts.
History
The Samidare is one of the oldest clans within Mizu no Kuni, originating back before the boom in shinobi with the advent of the Rikudo Sennin who brought Ninjutsu to the masses and essentially crafted the modern world of Shinobi. With their incredible abilities, a high birth rate, and a percentage of 95% of all children born with their Yoryoku ability, the Samidare were often called upon by the many island feudal lords to fight for them, though they never fought for opposite sides at once. Because of the size of the Samidare, they are governed by two councils that balance one another out, and form a democratic society.
The Samidare have several permanent compounds along the southern coast of Mizu no Kuni, as well as minor outposts on islands south of the continent. Due to their age and ability, the Samidare have ever been rivals to the tribal Kaguya who are parallel in ability and origins, and whom constantly raid Samidare outposts and villages. The people of the Samidare are noted for having dark skin and athletic builds, a rarity even amongst the other island clans.
