Clearing the Air

This thread was created to clear the air about anything you might be concerned about. I am going to tackle what I think are outstanding things that need to be cleared, while you can go ahead and post your own questions to be answered.

Uchiha]
OMG! YA! Yes, Uchiha are allowed. And no, we don't do that whole "30 members only" stuff. No, there can be an unlimited amount of Uchiha. But first, before you go out and buy some Sharingan contacts, there is a catch. OH! Bet you didn't expect that. Applications are to be judged extremely harshly. Uchiha are reserved for the elite due to the nature of their Kekkai Genkai. The elite of the elite are going to get them. Even so, the staff reserves the right to use every and any Uchiha for story purposes. Applications for Uchiha are judged on originality, detail, and roleplaying experience. That means that an RP sample must be written. Grammatical errors, and spelling errors are not to be tolerated. You have been forewarned.

Canon Clans]
Yes, they are all open. Feel free to make members of Haku's clan, a Kaguya, any of them from the manga. However, no Senju since we don't understand the nature of Mokuton, whether it is specific to Hashirama, or the entire clan. Sorry.

Boards]
Yes, we are only offering the five main countries at this point. Later on, as the site progresses, and the member base grows, new countries shall become available. They are all not allowed now because too many boards with zero stats make the board look inactive, even if it really isn't.

Biju]
No, as of now, they are not available. Later on, I shall create a few arcs that would bring them onto the scene. Even so, you can't just apply for a Biju.

Conflicts]
If you want to start a conflict, start one. Please don't just say you're fighting someone for no reason. This site, unlike others, uses intellect to begin things. If that clans destroys something on your land, that is a valid reason to start a conflict, opposed to another clan taking all your missions. Of course, these conflicts depend on who leads the clans.

Jutsu]
Alright, I was looking through the C-box and I saw some questions raised about clan apps. No, you don't have to register them formally prior to making the clan. However, to have them in your profile, please register them formally in the Jutsu Registration board. When you're approved, your jutsu thread shall be created by the staff. Thanks.

Open Profiles]
You may have noticed that your profile is left open. Yes, this is done purposely. We leave them open so we don't have to open pointless registrations for you to modify your own profile. Your profile can be modified whenever you want. HOWEVER, when you modify after your profile is in approved characters, you must have obtained those modifications in-character (unless you're editing because of a timeskip). This means when you want more weapons, you have to obtain them in-character, etc.

Origins]
I have always stressed being original and all. I still do. However, if you choose to base something on something that exists in the real world, please take into note that Naruto takes place in a Japanese-esque world. While I'm not going to limit one to Japan, I would like all metals, armors, etc., to be based on things of the Orient. No Wootz steel, and Damascus steel. All profiles that contain such should me modified as specified.

Names]
They are becoming a headache. If you have a long extravagant name, that is completely fine... for a joint account. Character accounts can be jazzed just slightly, perhaps a +, or `. However, please, unless you're operating on a joint account, no "http://, .exe., etc. If your account is for a single character, just put that character's name. Thanks.

Only one. I leave the first one open for a reason after I approve it. So you can use it again. Please, no two or more threads per person.

Senju]
After deliberation, we have decided to open the board to allow Senju clan members. They are able to use Mokuton and all. This overrules the previous rules disallowing members from making them.
